More Impressions of my Cayenne S

O.K. I have now taken this vehicle on a trip, commuted to work and drove some backroads (dirt) and can say I really like this vehicle. I like it BETTER than the Boxster Spyder I sold to purchase it. Very different vehicles of course (and I would not take this one to the track as I did the other).

I have yet to find anything to be critical about, and I have tried. If you want a weekend toy/track car, then this might be a good tow vehicle. If you want a Porsche for everything else, then this is the vehicle baby. Now I understand why this is such a good seller for Porsche. I am rattling on because I am so surprised I like it so much. I bought it because it was practical and "got the job done" I needed. I did not expect to fall in love with it. I have.

Re: More Impressions of my Cayenne S

A lot of people really have no idea, including Porsche owners until they have driven one.
I've probably have more experience on Cayennes than any member here, rennlist or 6speed, I've owned all models before started with a V6, then S , turbos, turbo S..lol I've taken the Cayennes thru snow storms, camping, DE, car meets etc.
with my 05 CTT with power kit ,I can drive the sweeping turns going up to Lake tahoe at 120mph no drama, it's an amazing car, enjoy it..I was gonna buy the new one, but we had a baby last year so I decided to hold off and buy a minivan to haul stuff..lol.. but my next one will be another turbo or the panamera..
I drove both on an autocross event, and they are awesome...the panamera would embarassed a whole lot of exotic cars..

this was my last Turbo that I missed 2005 with power kit, 520hp.. oyu can see how basalt black changes color in the sun
