Hey, K-man.
What size tires would you put on these wheels for spirited street use? And may I assume since these are custom wheels, one would not need to use spacers with them? Please kindly advise. Thank you.

I would put on whatever tires had as near to the same rolling diameter as the factory 19" wheel/tire combo has. You should be able to get the sizes in the FAQ unless you already have factory 19's on your car in which case check your car, then go use one of the online tire diameter tools to find something in a size that keeps the same or nearly the same rolling diameter.

As much as I would love to own these, my focus is on 18s! Is there not a genuine Porsche product that will glean 18x9 in front and 18x10 in rear??? I should think this would be a winning combo for track. There was some discussion last summer at Midohio race course about using 996 rears and boxster rears up front??
Any info would greatly be appreciated!!

If that is your desire, you should have gotten in on the Group Buy for the RAC Monolites which have the following specs (as quoted from the thread located here http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-tir...otorsport.html):
"8000 TON SPREAD FORGED MONOBLOCK Wheel
*9x18 front (17.5 lbs. estimated weight plus or minus 0.5 lbs.)
*10x18 rear (18.5 lbs. estimated weight plus or minus 0.5 lbs.)
* These wheel widths were chosen as the provide the best compromise because they will allow the most versatile tire sizing front and rear.
*Final front/rear offsets are still being worked out between Champion and RAC at this time. Rest assured that the wheels will fit the Cayman WITHOUT THE USE OF ANY SPACERS, and the wheels will NOT rub on the inner or outer fender wells at stock or moderately lowered ride heights. Champion and RAC are taking every concievable measurement into account to assure that these wheels fit like a glove with no issues.
*The wheels will also have the ability to use a factory Porsche wheel center cap, and be able to use the same OEM bolts the car was built with at the factory.
*The wheels will also be HUBCENTRIC (utilizing the exact same factory center bore of 71.6mm) Therefore...no Hubcentric 'rings' will be needed to properly fit the wheels onto the car. (unlike some other wheels on the market)"
While not a Porsche OEM product, it is certainly a GREAT deal...especially for the under $3k purchase price. While you missed that buy, the product will (speculation) eventually be available to others, at a different price for sure.

How do you "WIN" wheels when you have to actually bid and pay for them?? Gotcha! I hate it when Ebay does this on their TV commercials... OK I'm off my soapbox now.
