I've been framed!!!
Want to add that little something extra to your Cayman? Want to help support this website? Want to protect children and small animals from the sharp edges of a bare license plate? Well now you can with a custom planet-9.com license plate frame!
We are currently taking orders for the license plate frames, CLICK HERE TO ORDER. Order deadline is MAY 1st!
If you'd like more information about the frames you can read the group buy interest topic thread that was started here: http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-ven...ate-frame.html

Ken, The design of the frame showing open 4 corners, is in a thread, I remember seeing it but can't find it now, could add that design to the ordering page. Reason I am asking is I am considering using the backing plate. And I can't remember if the open 4 corner bracket, has 4 hole or 2? Can the backing plate be used on the front?

I'm not sure I understand the question, I know the open 4 corners doesn't have the round logo in the lower left or lower right, but I don't know if it has 4 bolt holes or only 2, I suspect 4 but don't know as I don't have one of those style frames to look at. I can ask the maker and see what they say but I want to make sure I understand your question first.

Yes, see if it has four holes, so that it could be used with 4 screws to mount it to Porsches black rear (and possibly front also, still researching) mounting plate.
If it has only 2 it won't be as secure as with 4 when attaching it.

Did I miss it?
K-Man - any chance to get myself on the list for the lic plate frame? Clearly, I wasnt paying close enough attention - otherwise, I would have signed-up prior to the 5/1 deadline...

I'm sorry ebgalv, the order was already sent to the manufacturer... the gb was extended an extra day to 5/2...
K-Man did order some extras so keep an eye out and perhaps you will get lucky.

Re: I've been framed!!!
You should be able to buy direct from the manufacturer, even w/o a GB. I did, back in Sept of last year or so. (Had both the license plate frame and Das Schild sitting the house for months before the order could even be placed!)

I need to get with the maker and see about what we can do for a new updated design, etc.
