Hot on the heels of our recent Garage update (see prior News item), we've added some new features to Planet-9.com to help keep our members connected including a dedicated Twitter feed, RSVP capabilities and a direct connection to Microsoft's Xbox Live!

For some time we've had a twitter account but haven't done a good job with keeping it updated on what is happening here on Planet-9 and in the world of things Porsche. I'm pleased to announce that our new topics and hot topics are going to be automatically fed directly to Twitter. R.S.V.P.
Although we have an active calendar here and many new events are organized and posted to the site by our members, we haven't had a good way (other than keeping forum lists) for people to express whether or not they are going to attend an event. We have now added R.S.V.P. capabilities to our events and any new event on our calendar will be able to make use of this feature. You can R.S.V.P for yourself, and/or guests, update your plans and as an event host have complete control over your R.S.V.P. list and event criteria. We hope this helps our members with their event planning in 2010 and beyond!

XBOX Live!
For some time members have been able to enter their Gamertags into their profiles on Planet-9.com but we really haven't allowed members to do very much with that information. Since it is now winter time and many of our members are snowbound and only able to drive via Forza 3 or other Xbox video games we've decided to give our members the capability of contacting each other via the site to play games. Check your member profile, if your Gamertag has been entered you'll now have direct access to your Xbox Live gamercard, avatar, avatar images and games played. Just an update on this, we discovered that the Xbox Live leaderboard wasn't updating properly over the last couple of weeks, however we think we've got that issue fixed and the leaderboard should be in the process of updating right now, so if you don't see yourself on it, or don't see your score updated properly let me know. Otherwise, Enjoy!
