"The Best" is a matter of personal preference and expectations.
Preparation is the key to any top level finish on your car, and then how you maintain it. I am about as fanatical as anyone here, and think nothing of a regular wash being a 4 hour therapy session, and my 2-3 time a year full detailing being 20 or 24 hours or more

.
That being said, the better products can be easier to use and not as time consuming; Griots' polishes and best of show wax are notoriously difficult to remove, while I can say from personal experience that Swissvax and Gloss It polishes / waxes are very easy to remove. Some companies have a cleanser or paint prep step as well to apply before your initial waxing with thier product (Swissvax being one), which can take as much or more time to use, but is critical to your results.
First rule - just don't "loose" your finish. Getting it back can be painstaking work.
The color of your car plays a role in the products you use. Some look better on dark finishes, and others on light. In fact, some companies have products that are color specific. And, black is not a color, it is a hobby!!!!
Use top quality micro fiber towels and applicators - cheap ones will undo all your work.
When you dry your car, apply detailing spray to the wet panels before you dry them; I suggest using the same brand of detailing spray as your wax. It lubricates your towel and greatly minimizes micro scratching of the clear coat, and leaves behind a very thin layer of wax that will prolong your primary wax coat.
I have done business with Phil, Chris, and Rich, they are all very helpful

, provide top quality products, and provide excellent service. I'll leave it to you and them to determine exactly what is the best product for you.
Regards, and have fun with it!!!!!!!!
