Check out the May issue of European Car. This Porsche Cayman is a one off. Our customer Larry Dye wanted to create a Porsche that was nothing like any other Porsche out there. When you read the article you will see the attention to detail that went into this Cayman.
This car arrived at the Gloss-it Detail Studio two days before Sema 2008. We received a call from Larry when he was on the road asking if we could give the car a once over before displaying at SEMA. He explain the car was not bad just need a lite polish. Wow... when he arrived is was in need of much more then a polish. The car had much in custom fabrication and Guards red fresh paint. After taking a close look at the paint work it was very obvious they rushed wet sanding and buffing the car. My crew and I were looking at the paint and notice the whole rear half of the car still had heavy orange peel and would need to be wet sand again to bring this car up to par for SEMA display.
That Saturday night as we started on the car Bob Willis from Auto Concierge and Brian Hare from Detail Werkz both Tech advisor and Gloss-it resellers arrived to help assist for the Gloss-it Booth at SEMA. They both jumped in to help knock this car out due to the time constraints we had for both preparation of Gloss-it at SEMA and helping Larry in getting his Cayman ready.
