If a I can do it, so can you!

Hi,

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Phil at Detailers Domain (Adam's car wash, microfiber towels, Adam's Detailing Spray and Clay bar, etc.) and some P21S wax from Glimmerglassdetailing.com. The results are AMAZING.

The car is new, so I didn't expect much to come off on the clay...but a surprising amount did. Phil was right...even new cars can benefit from claying to remove the deposits they get collect in-transit. The paint is now ridiculously smooth. The P21S wax was super-easy to apply and buff off. The car looks amazing.

I wasn't able to take full beauty shots (because it rained within hours of finishing, of course).... but check out the beading.

BTW, you know you're going insane when you photograph water droplets on the roof of your car.

Nice beading shot! I'm glad to see that you like everything As you saw, going through the process of claying a couple times a year really has its benefits, just as much as keeping a good layer of wax on the vehicle Get some full shots up when you have some time... if it ever stops raining anyway, lol.

Claying the "albino croc" took about 30 minutes. With the Adam's detailing spray, it's super-easy. And smells good.

Using a clay bar can produce fantastic results but a word of caution...don't apply too much pressure and if you drop the clay bar on the floor, throw it away!

Re: If a I can do it, so can you!

My results with P21S (man that's some hard wax)
Wasn't too hard to work with, a little longer cure time than the last synthetic I used but no complaints. I love the fact that it doesn't stain rubber/plastic.

agreed. If you drop it, grab another. Which makes this a good time to mention another piece of advice. With any piece of clay tear it in to smaller pieces and store the remaining pieces that you arent using. This way, if you do happen to drop it, you can just grab another piece

That white looks sharp. I don't think I've see a color yet that doesn't look good on these cars.

I love white! Car looks great. Hopefully the rain is gone for a while. The NE has had more than its fair share this summer!
