Tach Reading for Dyno

Would it be possible to have some harness or wire coming out of the cover that you could simply attach the Tach reading for dynoing. It seems with all the tuning I am doing it would be nice to keep the cover on and still be able to get the Torque reading? Any suggestions or has this been done?

Drew

Mustang dynos have an OBDII port reader that plugs right into the car to acquire this info while on the dyno, not sure about other brands...

Interesting thank you we have been getting the reading from one of the wires in the harness in the engine bay. How do others here get toque readings from the Dyno Jet? Anyone have another way? THX Drew

I've read a piece of reflective tape on the balancer and an optical pickup will work.
