Dyno Problems

I tried to get my CS dyno'd last week at a shop at Thunderhill. Unfortunately, the techs there seemed a bit clueless about the CS. In particular, they never had dyno'd a Porsche with the Tip before.

They were running a Dynojet. They were unable to get a reading, each time getting some type of error. During the first attempt, the car started surging, which I realized was the PSM kicking in. We turned off the PSM, but the car registered PSM failure, and ABS failure on subsequent attempts. In addition, the gear selection light kept flashing between 4 and M. After several attempts, I put a stop to it, as they clearly did not know what to do.

The failure lights cleared after a restart and a few minutes of driving.

Q: Are there particular procedures for dyno'ing with the Tip, so the next place I go to I can make sure they do it right?

Load on the dyno was probably set wrong or something.

Go somewhere else, even if they give you a printout how can you trust it, they have no idea how to use their own machine.

I dont have TIP but you turn off PSM as you say, ignore the messages and select the gear manually.
