CS with PSE Dyno Chart

I attended a tech session at DeMan Motorsports this weekend. The session dealt with car prep for club racing. All variants of the GT3, including an RSR, were reviewed. DeMan is also working on a Daytona Prototype adding a twin turbo setup. It was a really interesting session.

As part of the session I won a dyno run on my car. I have a 2007 CS with PSE. The car has a little over 12,000 miles on it. I use Sunoco Ultra for fuel. DeMan uses a DynaPack chassis dynamometer. Three runs were made. The first was to warm up the car. The second and third runs are on the chart. The red line is the stock exhaust. The green line is with PSE turned on. The run was from 1500 to 6900 rpm over 15 seconds. 4th gear was used. The air temperature was about 85 degrees F.

As the chart shows, PSE did not give any increase in HP, but there was a difference in torque in the lower RPM range.

PSE is standard in the RS 60, and that engine is rated at 303 HP, suggesting a small bump. It's too bad the dyno doesn't show it, but Americans want torque on the street, so at least the PSE contributes something.

Is it just me, or do I see some HP gains down in the lower RPM range, just not peak?

Because the runs were free, DeMan only performed two. If I had been paying for them, I could have asked for a couple of more runs to really substantiate the difference between stock and PSE.

I just dyno'd my RS 60 on dynojet. PSE on yielded a bump in torque in lower rpm range e.g. 2300 to 3200rpm but nothing up top. so basicly a replication of your findings.
