Question Question on dyno procedure

In a couple days I'm taking the Cayman to the dyno for the first time and I have a basic question. I assume the dyno setup needs access to a spark plug wire to get its rpm information (at least that's been the case when I took my previous car to the dyno). Is that what's done when you put the Cayman on the dyno? I'm not even sure where you get access to a spark plug wire. Anything else I need to know about setting up the Cayman for the dyno?

What type of dyno does the shop have? Not all dyno's require an rpm pick up.

We calculate rpm based off wheel speed on my dyno.

This dyno is a Dyno Dynamics and as I recall they used a spark plug wire pickup when I was there before.

I have tuned on a DD many many times. They will be able to calibrate rpm based on wheel speed in the mail set up screen. They shouldn't have to take a coil signal.
