It really depends on what you want. Do you want a "collectible" car or a drive-the-snot-out-of-it car? Will this be a track/AutoX/fun car, or a concours, show-it-off car?
If you like to display expensive modern art, get the "collectible" car and never drive it.
If you want to drive something unusual, get the "collectible" car, but expect that the car's value will plummet as you put the miles on.
If you want to have fun and not worry about the car's value, get the older car and save the rest of the money for ugrades and repairs.
Oh, BTW, be prepared: the garage queen will probably require significant repairs down the road. Cars, especially Porsches, need to be driven. If not driven, seals dry up and crack, fluids gum up and clog things, moisture accumulates and causes corrosion, etc -- most people don't appreciate that garage queens require at least as much maintenance as a daily driver. One of the more-common problems with 993 is that the air injection systems clogs with carbon when the car isn't driven hard; this is very expensive to fix, since it requires an engine overhaul.
