Thought someone might enjoy this anecdote: I was at my local dealer's service center getting my annual inspection a few days ago and immediately in line behind me for the same thing was a fellow bringing in his Carrera GT. He'd owned it since new and had about 2,000 miles on it. It was a beautiful car. He was sweating about negotiating the horrific potholed streets in the area with his limited ground clearance.
We started chatting, it turns out he has a Cayman (2.7) as his DD. He used to race Formula Atlantics and said he thought the Cayman was one of the best cars he'd ever driven. He put some snow tires on it and used it all winter in CT.
If I weren't already running late for my daughter's preschool graduation that morning, I might have tried to finagle a ride...
