This could be a special 911

I'm a member of the Alabama PCA chapter. I'm pasting an email broadcast to us in response to a member looking for a 70's 911. Ken, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum, I thought it would be of interest to someone.
I can send you his email if you PM me. I plan on going to the Porsche 250 this weekend and i can take some pictures if anyone is interested.

"A couple of years ago I asked Kevin to create for me the ultimate, no expense spared street/track classic air cooled 911, built specifically to the PCA rule book for stock class racing. We decided it would be a fun diversion from the usual GT3RS efforts. After an exhaustive search, I located an exceptional one owner, low mileage sunroof delete coupe in pure stock condition. We sent the original 3.2 liter and G-50 to Jerry Woods Enterprises for a complete blueprinted build to spec. The $25K build up(engine alone)might seem a little excessive for a stock spec 3.2, but in our experience, JWE is the best in the business. (For those who do not know, google Jerry Woods + Porsche). Rich Walton @ JWE will document all specs of the build and dyno run-in. The suspension and brakes (in excess of $15K alone) represent (in our opinion) the best available within the rule book, the interior w/tan leather Sparco Pro seats (courtesy of Hennessey Motorsports), fuel cell, roll-bar, safety restraints, all represent what we feel are the best available for a street legal car.

The car is just amazing. When finished, Kevin sadly protested that the car is just too nice of an example to place on the track in competition.
I have driven the car on the street only during a restrained 2000 mile break in. I have never placed the car on the track, even for a DE, however-I'm very tempted to have our race engineers do a track side set up during upcoming testing, put Andy Lally (talk about a ringer) in the cockpit and assault the PCA class/lap record at Barbers (just for grins).

Of the more than 50 911s I have owned, this is perhaps the best classic example--certainly the very best available for less than the cost of the build-up. I'm making room in my Birmingham garage for a new GT2.
Somebody is going to be very, very happy."

Thanks--John

Is his other name Jerry Seinfeld? If he is 45 and started at age 20 thats 2 per year. He must be a dealer, or have some serious 911 dependancy problems.

I'm only passing on info from a local PCA member. I found another post with a little more info. I seemed like a special situation. I can take some pictures this weekend because it's going to be at the Porsche 250.

There's the other post.
