Lambo's new 4 door stuns Porsche
Looks much like the upcoming Porsche Panamera.
Meet the Lamborghini that can seat four people but still gets a 5.2-litre V10 capable of 310km/h … and with a Local estimated AUD$600,000* price tag. By TOBY HAGON and the Drive team at the 2008 Paris motor show.
Lamborghini has stunned the automotive world – and not least its supercar rivals Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin – by unveiling a wild looking four-door sedan called the Estoque on the eve of the 2008 Paris motor show.
* USA price, back calculates to be about US$230K

How can that be 'stunning'? Porsche has already committed to the Panamera, has already expanded the Leipzig factory for production. More than just tossing out some artist renderings, PAG has put real $$$ (Euros, actually) behind its words.
And for 1/3 the price of the Lambo johnnie-come-lately...

Totally agreed, and even if it makes it into production, I still think the panamera looks better (from the front at least )

That car is HOT. Wow. You can hardly tell it is a four door. For $600k....no thanks, but then again unless I was a billionaire I would never pay $600k for a car....no matter what it is/was/will be.

I think that lambo looks pretty ugly. I am hoping the panamera looks better that, and from some of the spy pics, I think it will .

The Lambo looks WAY hotter than the Panamera IMO.....for some reason the Porsche front/backend don't look that great on a 4 door, where the Lambo looks "right"....

I will say that the lambo definately has a mean look to it, but I'm with Arcuhtek, theres no way I'd consider spending that kind of money on a car. I do think its got the edge in appereance over the Panamera though.

So when the Paris show-goers saw the new Lamborghini they were eh-stoked? I know, it's pronounced ess-toe-kay, but I couldn't resist. Autoweek says the price "likely would be in the range of the [US]$200,000 Gallardo LP560-4". Much better than 6 big ones, but still too much for me. Anybody know what the Panamera will go for?

If VW owns Lambo, and Porsche just got control of VW, it might make the rendering the last we see of this...........

I don't know about that,.....they will be in two different price leagues. The bulk of Panameras will most likely be base (6 cyl.) of first step V8, just like the Cayenne and sell for well under $100k.
The lambo will be over $200k and in another ball park.
If Porsche can make money on both, you will see both.

Again, from Autoweek:
"Volkswagen boss Martin Winterkorn was told about the car only weeks ago, and it is rumored that the Porsche hierarchy was less than pleased about the car."

Kinda reminds me of the design group that wanted a muscle car. They hid a bunch of options available for a 64 Lemans and called it a GTO. The bean counters said it would never fly.
Oh ya and that Earl somebody in the 50s who worked outside the box.

Reminds me of the new Chevy Camaro... from the back atleast. Serioulsy, if that thing drove by me and the Lamborghini badge/ name was absent I probably would have thought it was something from GM, Ford etc. Now the front isn't half bad, but all in all, not impressed. Now if it still sounds like it's counterparts, then maybe, maybe we have something...
I agree with above, give me a CGT and maybe a Gemballa package at that!

My thoughts also. It is just a concept car. Just like the Muira concept, which isn't going to be produced (IMHO, that is a real shame! That car was stunning). It's also rather early to say it looks better than the Panamera, because we still don't really know what that car will look like. I did like the Panamera's nose!

I think the Panamera will be at least 30 to 40k north of those prices.
