Porsche Halts Production

UPDATE 1-German carmakers make fresh move to cut output | Reuters

An article on Reuters, linked by the DrudgeReports. Article is just a quick look at Porsche Production, and their plant to halt all production for one week.

Interesting effects of global economic slowdown affecting Porsche sales and stock.

Not unusual for Porsche.

Re: Porsche Halts Production

Santa Fe,

Thanks for the indepth article, much more information. It's good to see Porsche maintaing its standards, and simply curbing their output as a response to demand. Detroit could learn something about Supply&Demand from Porche's simple scaling down of production.

Interesting Article

Re: Porsche Halts Production

About Detroit...
One of my friends announced that he just put in an order for a "new" Camario R-SS... with all the go fast parts. When questioned though, he thought it had a 50/50 chance of being built (scheduled for April 08). I thought it has a 80/20 chance of rolling out with a Toyata badge on it
