Re: Long Beach Porsche ALMS Race Preview

Patrick Long (Flying Lizards) had a good shot at pole, but a slow Joel Feinberg in his Viper impeded him toward the end of his flying lap.

Re: Long Beach Porsche ALMS Race Preview

So I went on speed to schedule the recording of the ALMS at long beach like I did for Sebring.....
They're not airing it on Speed? I'm a little confused..I thought all the races were 12 hours. St. Petersburg was only 2 hours? and same with LB?

Re: Long Beach Porsche ALMS Race Preview

Tape delayed on ABC (on now so this doesn't help much).

The IRL is live later on Versus

No, most are of the 2-3 hour variety with notable exceptions being Sebring at 12 hours, Petit Lemans at 10 hours, Road America at 4 or so and the same with Laguna Seca.

I can't quite figure out the Speed broadcasting either. I think they pay the networks to broadcast it when you think that Speed would pick it up for free and have a more dedicated audience - or at least Speed would play it a day or two latter after the networks have done the live or tape delay. Anyone know?
