Had a spectacular day playin' hookie from work on Fri.(5/15). Lite attendance on practice days grants slightly different perspective on the atmosphere and Laguna's access is very fan friendly.

Had a couple delightful Dragon Slayer IPA's from English Ale's Brewery's stand; a track local brewhaus. I don't usually partake, but the weather was cooperative...not too hot or cold.

Brumos struggled to turn in any decent numbers (I think the 58 car has had setup gremlins at Laguna last couple-few years), but Penske looked alright...I think the Penske team is still trying to gel their GrandAm mojo...won't be long before they do their thing.

I didn't peg Gurney and Fogarty to dominate...good clean showing. Boy, TRG had a fleet of cars in the show, with backups; amazing circus tent too.

Speedsource Ham & Tremblay had the ride to beat in Gt, super-confident through the corkscrew every time, dive and dig, dive and dig.

Banner, Fb-L and Stevenson all looked good.

Man...I'm super impressed with the series this year, seems a bit more competetive and hostile; eg. Pruett - Donohue runin at NJ.
