Slow sales - plant closed for a while

Besides closing main plant in Germany for few days the slow sales have forced a four week closure also in Uusikaupunki, Finland plant which produces all Caymans and most Boxsters.

Re: Slow sales - plant closed for a while

Here's a news flash, (or maybe not) much of the Cayman and Boxster production has been moved to Germany already due to the plant slowdown. Start looking for 2009 Caymans and Boxsters with an "S" in the VIN as opposed to a "U"

Yes, Boxster allocations have been moved to Stuttgart plant but I was under impression Caymans would still be 100% produced in Finland?

Anyway, pretty soon 0% of Caymans will be produced in Uusikaupunki.

Yes it is, but that's not for a couple of years, currently Porsche has shifted some production from Finland to Germany.
