FOUR brand new Cayman Ss for sale in the mid 40s
Just in case somebody wants to jump in. They only have a couple of options, one of them heated seats, but these cars have full warranties, which is rare, as most leftover '08s have been put in 'demo' service, which reduces warranty. Those cars are not true demos, but by 'punching' them as such, Porsche subsidizes them, and dealers take advantage of that... at the detriment of eating on the warranty.
Anyway, place is Walter's Porsche in Riverside, CA. No association whatsoever; just trying to benefit members with research I've done already. If inappropriate for whatever reason, just delete it, and please accept my apologies mods. They had 14 just a few days ago, so they're flying. Good luck.

Not a problem - this is good information for other members to use.

I'm not inclined to reset my browser just to handle a particular dealer's site. web pages can be designed to handle browser variability.
[ Folks, if you're going to put up a web site, make it useful: make, model, an accurate list of options, price. skip the boilerplate common to all caymans ...
here's a sample from one of stevens creek not-40K specials:
Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Head Curtain Air Bag, Cd Player, Bose Premium Sound, Rwd, Climate Control, Bucket Seats, F&r Side Air Bags, Alloy Wheels, Anti-lock Braking, Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, Memory Seats, Rear Spoiler, Dual Power Seats, Leather Heated Seats, Dual Front Air Bags, Steering Wheel Controls
there was more but my eyes were glazing over.
If I'm looking for a PASM Cayman S w/ Bi-Xenons and Bose, this site is hiding those options. rather than dig, I'll look elsewhere. ]
to summarize, I found it less than helpful, and no hint of lightly used or new S for $40K.
If a member posted this trying to be helpful, I'm not yelling at you - I just couldn't find anything like a CS in the $40K range - and have no patience w/ lousy seller web sites.
And if you're a dealer, your web site is putting you well behind the 8-ball.

PASM - Porsche Active Suspension Management
|
 |
This active damping system offers continuous adjustment of individual damping forces based on current road conditions and driving style.
The driver can choose from two setup modes, ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’, using a separate ‘damper’ button on the center console. ‘Normal’ mode is designed for general road driving and circuits with uneven tarmac. ‘Sport’ mode is intended for smoother track surfaces, where the harder settings help eliminate pitch and roll.
In either mode, PASM continuously evaluates the current conditions while automatically selecting the corresponding damper rates from the respective set of mapped values.
A range of sensors are used to monitor the movement of the body under acceleration, braking and cornering maneuvers, as well as on poor road surfaces. The PASM control unit then evaluates this data and modifies the damping force on each individual wheel in accordance with the selected mode. The result is a significant reduction in body movement as well as a better grip on the road.
For example: if ‘Sport’ mode is selected, the suspension is automatically set to a harder damper rating. If the quality of the track surface falls below a certain threshold, the system immediately changes to a softer rating within the ‘Sport’ setup range. When the quality of the tarmac improves once more, PASM automatically returns to the original, harder rating.

Well, you look at the price for the '08 and subtract $20k- pretty simple
As to the rest, you can scrutinize the pics to get an idea, or pick up your phone and call them.
I'm not a dealer, just someone who bought a car from them and was quite satisfied with the whole process.
