Search Function for Car and Options on Porsche.com
Is there a way to search for a particular car, color, options on the Porsche site for consumers? A salesman did this on the Porsche site when I visited the dealership but I don't see this option on the consumer website.
Thanks.

Re: Search Function for Car and Options on Porsche.com
On the Porsche.com site you can only search for pre-owned vehicles, only dealers have access to search nationally for a new vehicle, which includes pre-production vehicles which would not show up on individual dealer sites.

You can find a dealer and be linked to his site from Porsche.com then check his inventory for what they have. Trouble is, many don't keep the inventories up to date, or have incomplete information.

PASM - Porsche Active Suspension Management
|
 |
This active damping system offers continuous adjustment of individual damping forces based on current road conditions and driving style.
The driver can choose from two setup modes, ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’, using a separate ‘damper’ button on the center console. ‘Normal’ mode is designed for general road driving and circuits with uneven tarmac. ‘Sport’ mode is intended for smoother track surfaces, where the harder settings help eliminate pitch and roll.
In either mode, PASM continuously evaluates the current conditions while automatically selecting the corresponding damper rates from the respective set of mapped values.
A range of sensors are used to monitor the movement of the body under acceleration, braking and cornering maneuvers, as well as on poor road surfaces. The PASM control unit then evaluates this data and modifies the damping force on each individual wheel in accordance with the selected mode. The result is a significant reduction in body movement as well as a better grip on the road.
For example: if ‘Sport’ mode is selected, the suspension is automatically set to a harder damper rating. If the quality of the track surface falls below a certain threshold, the system immediately changes to a softer rating within the ‘Sport’ setup range. When the quality of the tarmac improves once more, PASM automatically returns to the original, harder rating.

You might want to have Sport Chrono with the PDK - it really changes things for the better - if you haven't done some reading on the relationship between Sport Chrono and the PDK, it might change you mind on this option...

Re: Search Function for Car and Options on Porsche.com
The PASM is the tough option to find especially on a base car but hope this helps.
Blk/Blk Cayman S @ Porsche of Arlington (has everything you specified)
There are alot of other CS which have you specific options - PASM. Just depends on how far you want to go.
There were four Caymans which had everything but PASM:
1 @ Pioneer Centers
1 @ Porsche of Stevens Creek
2 @ Jim Ellis Atlanta
