Should I?

Been lurking for a while - great information! Have an option to buy a leftover 08 CS - guards red, 19 Carrera S wheels, Bose system, Bi-Xenon, preferred package with MSRP of $64,790 for $47,991.

Would I be crazy not to do this?!

Re: Should I?

Sounds like a pretty fair price to me. If the colors and options are a fit, I'd say go for it.

Methinks he meant Carrera wheels.

That's a really good price, if it's what you're looking for or can live with, then go for it!

Re: Should I?

Almost have the same options as the one in Alabama I did this research about a year ago. I'm wondering if the car was a swap for another one for a different customer. I can do more digging if you need me to but a great price I think. My main issue was that i had to pay about 1600 to get the car shipped to NJ so instead I made a deal for a CS in NJ with few more options. The cost was the same when transportation was added. Good Luck!!

Re: Should I?

Tcom appreciate the information - via Carfax, looks like it came off the truck in August of 2008. Probably going to pull the trigger on this one - driving up tomorrow.

Re: Should I?

Tcom apparantly this is the same car - invoiced to Tom Williams in B'ham Alabama - the GM at the TN dealership worked there. I pulled the trigger on Saturday $47,991 - love the car!

Do you remember when last year you were looking at this car - just curious? Car fax shows "in dealer invenotry" in 8/2008.

Thanks!

Congrats!! Welcome to the club!!!
You now own part of history!!
I started searching for my car around mid May last year.
I know the car was at Alabama while before that.
Not sure how carfax works but look at the door there should be a date on it that indicates when the car was build.
I bet the two dealers did a trade to satisfy a customer around 08/08 and the TN dealer probably updated the records.
Since the car was still new the prior dealer might be transparent on carfax!
But any how you got a great deal
Enjoy braking in the car and be aware of many many drivers that will try to race you!!
Don’t forget Red is Always Faster!!
