Curious if anyone knows the % to finance with porsche credit on a "new" 08?

I'm looking at a new 08 that hasn't been punched yet, and curious if anyone knows what type of financing rate's porsche is giving currently?

It apperas it's around 2.9% on 09 cayman s? but can't find anything on 08 cayman s.

Thanks!

3.7 or so on a special Tier 1 from Porsche, or possibly from Bank of America.

You must be able to do better than that with FHB or a local credit union! Seriously though, you forgot to mention that those are buy rates. This is James from Stevens Creek. I just joined because I had a customer swear that the 2010 Cayman S will have paddle shifters based on what he read on this site. I had to check to make sure.

Anyways, just thought I would say Aloha. Call me when you get a chance. I still have the 2008 GT2 and it needs to go this month. New, not punched, below MSRP.

Welcome to the forum, James. There's plenty of good, accurate information here, but unfortunately, like all Web automotive forums, there's a lot of inaccurate information, too. Right now, there seems to be a lot of wishful thinking going on about the PDK steering wheel shifters being changed to paddles (like Ferrari, etc.). Here's one of those threads...

http://www.planetporsche.net/cayman-...-shifters.html

Here's the reference in this global order guide:

840 SPORTS STEERING WHEEL PDK WITH PADDLE
STEERING WHEEL RIM WITH SMOOTH-FINISH LEATHER IN INTERIOR COLOR
+ 250 - 844, 845, 847, XPU
NOTE: EARLIEST AVAILABLE FROM JANUARY 2010 ON
But it's vague as to what Porsche calls "paddles..." they might call the existing switches paddles... who knows?

Here's another: http://www.planetporsche.net/cayman-...ft-coming.html

This thread was started by someone who swears it's true because the salesman he asked wouldn't give him an answer... so, it must be true.

I guess we'll all find out when they issue the MY 2010 US order guide and/or start to build and deliver the 2010 cars.

Re: Curious if anyone knows the % to finance with porsche credit on a "new" 08?

Thank you sir for the kind welcome.

I hear you on the volume of accurate and inaccurate information on this and other boards, as well as the internet in general. Google a 2008 Porsche Panamera and read some of the results! Truth is, although there have been times when information on the internet has proven true and was available far sooner than Porsche confirms to us, this is rare. (I had a client show me what turned out to me an cutout of the new PDK in a Chinese car magazine before Porsche confirmed to us that it was going in the 2009s. I also found pictures of the new Panamera last year on the internet that ended up being in the hard covered Panamera marketing materials sent out by Porsche in April.)

This seems like a well operated board, and I hope to be able to contribute positively. By the way, that 2010 order guide does not look anything like the recent order guides from Porsche. We do have the 2010 order guides for Transyberia, Panamera and GT3 already and they are the same format as the 2009.

Re: Curious if anyone knows the % to finance with porsche credit on a "new" 08?

James, how are you doing? He asked about 08s PFS rates which we would be falling over ourselves for a deal at buy rate to move one of those puppies, as I assume almost any dealer would.

How about you just send us the GT2 w/MSO and you can take credit for getting it off your floorplan
