CS - New base price is $61.5K, need advice on offer
So, I just found out that my 2010 CS has been completed and priced. Trying to figure out what to offer the dealer -- know the owner well so I should be able to go pretty deep. Can anyone tell me the facts?
1) Dealer margin on a CS, inclusive of incentives (i.e., not just retail minus invoice)
2) Is margin any higher for options? Can you get a greater percentage discount on a heavily optioned car?
3) What is a good starting point for the attached car? 8% off retail? 10%? 12%?
4) How does this all change with whether I pay cash, finance, or lease?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
