Is this a decent deal on a '10 CS?

Have a build-to-order 2010 Cayman S arriving in less than a month (June 2 build) and my dealer offered me $1000 over invoice (MSRP - $82,000). No one knows what invoice is on the 2010s, but can anyone tell me if this is a fair deal? Thanks!

Porsche raised the base MRSP price by 2.2% for 2010 so I’m sure invoice will be the same increase. The increase was only on base price the options stayed the same. You should be able to find 2009 invoice pricing is several spots on the internet. And yes I think it is a very good deal.

Andrewflk, thanks for the input. I have a good relationship with the dealer and just wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal while still being fair to them.

1,000 over invoice for a 2010 seem Hi. I know two guys that have ordered 2010 Caymans and have gotten a few % less than MSRP. I believe it was about 5%.

To clarify, $1,000 over invoice translates to about $73,500, which is over 10% off MSRP ($82,000). I'll infer from your comment that it's a good deal?

I'd say that's a good deal on a build-to-order car.

Thanks, all, for the feedback! I've officially accepted the dealer's offer and am eagerly awaiting delivery next month.
