A tale of two companies. Which one would you bet your chips on as most likely to survive?
I LOVE BMWs. I've owned three of their cars and six of their bikes over the years. But they have never offered me a good car lease. Porsche has given me several good leases. Audi has given me many good leases. Mercedes have been cheaper to lease than BMWs. My local BMW dealer just won't give me a good deal. I wish I had access to your dealership. An M3 would be nice for a change.

I have 2 sedans-both BMW's-a 545i and a 328i. For airport and Walmart parking, I use my wife's VW Rabbit. She always gets PO'd at me for that.

I'm waiting for some 2009 PDK Caymans to go CPO and I'll see what happens.

I don't know about that. BMW has had good leases for quite a few years, including the free maintenance. Lately, their leases suck big time as they have raised interest rates and lowered the residuals. They offer more attractive deals for buyers. They are currently throwing in a free AT on a new 335i sedan purchase-that's $1200-$1300 right off the top.

It would be nice to see Porsche get off its high horse and join the real world.
This act that they are putting on like they are not hurting, business is great and that they are recession proof is a bunch of BS.

Like I already said, a Porsche store in Florida has already filed for chapter 11 protection. There will be more.

In this horrible environment, they still refuse to offer incentives.

Pride is one thing. Foolish pride is another.
