Does anyone have experience with WAC wheels? Wheel and Caps? The have these OEM replica wheels
18" Wheels for Porsche Cayman Boxster 18x8 18x9 NEW:eBay Motors (item 200301816170 end time Jun-21-09 05:06:01 PDT)
That are a great price for an extra set of track tires.

Re: WAC - Wheel and Caps replica OEM rims?
I have no direct experience with them. Ask them the weight of each wheel. I am sure they are heavier than the original. This might/might not be important to you. For tracking the car, it would reasult in slower aceleration/braking response and less compliant suspension, since the wheels weight is unsprung weight. The rule of thumb is that each pound of unsprung weight is the equivalent of four pounds in your car.
Good luck. Let us know what you do

Re: WAC - Wheel and Caps replica OEM rims?
Weight is very important to me, I had already called and asked about the weight but there didn't know. The OEM wheels are actually very light for cast wheels, they did a great job of carving out as much weight as possible when you look at the back. I would prefer a used set of OEM's but I haven't seen any lately. I'm hoping someone bought these and can compare them to the original OEM's to see if they "borrowed" the OEM cast

Re: WAC - Wheel and Caps replica OEM rims?
I just found out that my Cayman S OEM 18" Boxter wheels are actually Cast and not Forged and since WAC's wheels are also cast, is there anything else I should be looking for?
btw, my porsche dealer told me that on the late model Porsches with the exception of the 911 Turbo wheels (which are forged), all others are cast. Could some one also confirm this?
