NT01 excessive outside wear

I seem to be getting alot of wear on the outside edge of my tires. I have 3 track days on these tires, I just installed PSS9s and adjusted the alignment to -1.3 camber in the front and -2.0 in the back before the tires were installed. I had f38/b38 psi for 2 days and f34 - 36/b38 the last day.
How much neg camber do I need? I'm about to order some GT3 LCAs so I can increase the neg camber up front. I drive my car every day.

Re: NT01 excessive outside wear

I beleive Nitto recommends -2.5 to -5.0 degrees camber. Most are running in the -2.5 to -3.0 range without advese wear on the street.

You can flip these tires on the wheels to even out the wear. Yes, I know the tire is directional, but it works.

Cheers

Re: NT01 excessive outside wear

Agreed on flipping I run mine with -1.3 F and -2.5 rear. I get uneven wear up front but flip my tires after two days. Unfortunately I only get 4 days on these tires. I'm considering GT3 LCAs. I assume you ordered 996? How much did you pay and from where?

Re: NT01 excessive outside wear

I would try higher pressure. Try 42F and 40R. I know more upfront seems crazy but give it a try...

I plan on ordering them today from a non-sponsor. I can send you a PM with the details.

Sounds like I need to try -2.5 front and -3.0 rear.

My backend gets very loose with anything over 40 lbs. It seemed to handle the best at 36/38 for me.

So your non-sponsor can beat Aaron at Suncoast? - Suncoast Porsche, Audi, & VW: Adjustable Control Arms

Cheers,

Cheers,
Beat him by 20% on brake pads. (based on the web site, I'll gladly call them if they give better rates to members over the phone.)
