When I got the CS all 4 of the Carrera Classics were scoffed to various degree. Add to the fact that 2 of my front wheels on the Suby had extensive scratch & scrapes, I decided to do some research into wheel repairs (instead of buying a new set), and after sending out emails to 3 places, 1 emailed back almost immediately. The place is called Wheel Guard

And 2 of the guys showed up promptly at 9am, Saturday morning, and proceeded to do fix the wheels. I'll let the pictures tell the story:

first set is my WRX wheels, you can see extensive damage and the repair result (focus on ~7'o clock position and you can see where they repaired)

needless to say, I'm a happy camper. Total for 5 wheels: $425.

Total for a new set of CS wheels: about $4500.

more CS wheels: before. What you can't see are the extensive damage the surface area of the star pattern received, most likely from automatic car washes where it ate the metal railing. ALL fixed.

Nice work. I have 1 that has an ever so slight curb spot that needs repairing

basically the same as the link below, very intuitive and looks easy. the problem is i'm not a professional and it's been years since i played with plastic models, so i was glad to let the pros do it for a fraction of the price of a new wheel.

Thanks casualsurfer, I have a set of wheels no longer in use that I didn't think I'd be able to sell because I curbed one. I didn't know someone could fix them so nicely. Well done.
