TPCicon inactive system learning after driving for a bit goes to normal, but the tire pressure on my 4 tires goes everytime differnt, and then I get this message everytime I reset the tpms like on pic #3 .. and this is everytime I get in the car I have to drive but keeps doing the same odd thing.. any one that had this problem before?

    Re: TPC inactive system learning

I've been having the same problem with my car, except it doesn't ever go back to normal. Does anyone know a quick fix to this problem? I tried leaving my car battery disconnected overnight and it didn't help at all.

    Thanks,

Not sure if there's a quick fix. My '08 required a reprogram of the TPMS computer and a new wheel sensor to get it happy again. Fortunately under warranty.

Before taking it in I tried the switch tire types to force a relearn, raise and lower tire pressures routines that I found here by searching to no avail.

Having same issue for 3 weeks with my '06 S. Have tried different things but nothing seems to change. Off to the dealer next week. Thankfully have a CPO until 2012.

    Re: TPC inactive system learning

The batteries in the TPMS sensors have a limited lifespan (5-7 years as I recall). As always, some will last longer than others.

I suspect some of the 06 and 07 model year cars equipped with TPMS will start to see strange symptoms soon.

I see that solrac6262 has an 08, if you're still under warranty, take it in quick before it runs out.

    Re: TPC inactive system learning

I've done a little bit more searching to a solution and some say that resetting the TPMS computer might help. I wasn't able to find out how to do the reset in my manual.. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Re: TPC inactive system learning

Just got car back from dealer. Battery on wheel sensor at zero. Remainder of sensors (other 3 wheels) OK with minimum of 22 months left on charge. Apparently have technology to measure remaining? They removed tire from wheel and replaced sensor/valve for a grand total of $335 (warranty price to Porsche). My cost $0 thanks to CPO. Per adviser, private cost would have been close to $400. Hmmm, for these kind of parts/repair costs, got me thinking about a newer CPO CS before the warranty wears out in March.
