Of course do this at your own risk; I waited until I had a few months and several AX days under my belt to post this, in case they failed. I can't imagine a dangerous or costly outcome even if they do fail, but who knows. I had trouble getting a good perpendicular start of my die on the shafts, so if I did it again I would pay a local machine shop to do that, as long as they had a fool-proof way of starting the threads right.
UPDATE: well one side got loose at the link/sway bar connection (not something I modified in any way) and a subsequent shock load from a speed bump broke the link at the threads I had made. So even though the failure was facilitated by an unrelated factor (loosening of the factory sway bar connection), I now discourage this mod.
