BBI Autosport Update 2/09

We have been working with Powerchip Group to build a tune for the Cayman S to take advantage of the 82mm compilation plenum and t-body. We spent hours doing a live tune on the dyno and logging data on the street. We are pleased with the results. Stay TUNED for the results on our BBI Cayman exhaust.

Updated Dyno Chart Coming

We also have a new Hunter tire machine, the same as used by Porsche.

Re: BBI Autosport Update 2/09

I have your UDP for a 2006 model. Are you going to do one for 2009?

Re: BBI Autosport Update 2/09

Betim, Joey and Jared @ BBI are doing fantastic work on my car.

Real top-quality service. If anyone is looking for someone to take their Cayman's to the next level I can't recommend BBI more!

The exhaust they are currently building for my car is a new updated version to the ones you see in the pics above. Stay tuned - Lots amazing Cayman stuff coming soon!!

Here are some pics that I snapped while at BBI:

How are you liking the Pulley? We are working on a 3 pulley kit for the 09 cars now. I would expect early spring fot the ETA.

We are also coming out with Gen-II of our UDP for pre 09 Caymans

Ill keep you posted.

That is a black ceramic coating that reduces radiant heat by 55%. We tested this BASF coating on 2 997RSR in ALMS in 2007.

What's the added advantage of the Gen-IIs?

+1 very interested to know price/availability

Was nice to see you intro your products with a dyno to show how they measure up. By chance was a baseline dyno done on the stock car before installing plenums/software?

Re: BBI Autosport Update 2/09

Do you make the ceramic coated exhaust in a cat-back? If so, how much?!?!?!

I kind of like the black exhaust. Something different.

Re: BBI Autosport Update 2/09

BTW BBI is no longer a sponsor, I believe their reasoning was that there weren't enough Cayman parts sales, yet it seems our members are asking for them and they weren't responding, thus a Catch-22. I need to remove their sponsor access, my apologies for not having done so earlier I simply overlooked it.
