An Interesting Find - Armrest lid with Porsche Crest

Something we ordered by accident, a really cool mistake. We just threw it on ebay, check it out if you're interested. This one has the Alcantara cover with "PORSCHE" logo.

But you could have it restitched .... but then you would be on the slippery slope of which part to restitch next

I once bought a Civic for 10 dollars less than that. Got some used tires and the thing ran fine for two years till I gave it away.

YellowBird came with this accessory. I like it, but there is no way I'd have paid anywhere near THAT for it. YellowBird had been a dealer demo, so it has some fun things I would not have ordered.
That armrest looks good though.

Re: An Interesting Find - Armrest lid with Porsche Crest
looks neat, it would be cool to have, but not at that price!!!!! Does Porsche know that there's a downturn in the global economy??? Wait, it's Porsche, of course, they don't.

Makes me glad that I specced that item when I ordered the car. Cost me £135!

This is supposed to be an "Oops SALE", but I don't see the sale in the oops's price.

Re: An Interesting Find - Armrest lid with Porsche Crest
it probably is an oops price, the real price has another zero behind it (before the decimal point), courtesy of Stuttgart.

It actually looks great in the car, much better than the stock plastic piece. I just can't understand how they expect to get $595 for a $295 option...

Re: An Interesting Find - Armrest lid with Porsche Crest
There is one bidder. With all the Porsche owners out there, some of them will be willing to pay the asking price.
By the way, why is it a black leather armrest? Looks gray to me...
