Looks like the DCM bar. Is it the same? I have very pleased with the fit and look of my DCM bar.

This is a RSS Harness Bar. While there are many similar looking bars out there, this one was engineered, protyped and manufactured by RSS. It's a really clean and well designed bar. Nice to know there are good options out there for cayman owners to choose from.

Thanks for the response. I heard on this site that DCM was out of business. I agree, it is good to know other options exist.

Looks like a nice bar. One item to note that it looks like it requires to cut into the large plastic interior piece that include the storage units. This piece is VERY expensive to replace versus the small cap over the seat belt mount that the DMC and TC design bar requiring cutting. When I say very expensive, my deal quotes around $1300 to replace both.

You may want to check with your dealer again on that price. If you are referencing PN 987 555 072 05 (shelf / storage box) it can be had for closer to $150 to $175 per side. Pelican Parts lists the part at $187.50 and I know that Aaron at Suncoat can do even better.

I will look for my receipt, but when I purchased new plastic (boxes, strut tower covers, seat belt roses) the total was close to $500 for everyting.

Thanks Krok - I've looked it up on Pelican, wow my dealer quoted me $650 for that part and $150 for the strut tower covers. $187 a side makes more sense, even my dealer was surprised by the price but that's what his system was showing.

The RSS bar looks like a nice solution for $350.
