Group Buy Group buy- side skirt extension

Many of you guys on this forum track your cayman and some of you just for the racing look. This side skirt extension will help you finish off the stock side skirt and also help to reduce amount of air goes through the sides during track.

We are going to start a group buy for these side skirt extensions.

They will be available in both Dry carbon and fiberglass.

Deposit : $250

MSRP : $649 in dry carbon and $499 in fiberglass

Here's the deal : First 10 deposits 10% off, if we reach 20+ deposits 20% off

EXTRA 10% OFF WILL BE ENDED END OF THIS WEEK (6/20)

Deposit pay to payment@motor-lux.com (paypal) or give us a call at 714-547-7753 for credit card payment.

Note: This side skirt extension will only fit Cayman and Boxster. We need at least 10 people to run this project, so no installed pictures until we start the project.

Following pictures are the example of how they look.

Re: Group buy- side skirt extension

looks great, and i'm interested.
a few questions:
1. excuse my density, but does dry carbon need additional finish for UV protection or is it ready to use?
2. just to confirm pricing- you indicate 'final price' so that is AFTER the discount is applied? if so, then we can expect an additional 10% off those prices if we get 20 or more deposits?
3. is there a cut-off date?

1. It does not need additional finish for UV, we will coat it with UV protected gel coat.
2. The price above is before the discount.
3. We have not set the cut off date yet at this moment.

Re: Group buy- side skirt extension

Question - Why would it fit a Cayman but not a Boxster? As far as I know the lower side skirt areas of both cars are identical.

Went ahead and added myself, would also like to order a carbon rear diffuser in the same weave as the side skirt (1x1?). Thanks.

Re: Group buy- side skirt extension

There was a photo of gt3 with side skirt extension awhile back but we did not save the picture and cannot find it anywhere, all I remember is that it makes the car looks more aggressive. Maybe someone on the board can help us photoshop the side skirt extension on the caymans.

Question- can you just leave the dry carbon as is or do you need to paint it or can I just Clear coat it? My car is black so the carbon look would bee cool .wonder if these side skirts would look ok without a lower front piece on the front bumper. The GT in the picture has the Lower bumpers to make it all come together. can someone good at photoshop put these side skirts on a stock cayman? I think thats what we need to see -just my 2 cents
I am deffinately Interested in this .

Re: Group buy- side skirt extension

I'm very interested but can't commit until seeing the product on an actual cayman. Need to see how all the details are handled.

Re: Group buy- side skirt extension

Any chance these would work with aftermarket skirts? Say...Techarts?

Re: Group buy- side skirt extension

Our dry carbon parts comes in either glossy or matte finish no need to clear it again.

The side skirt extension will be made base on the stock cayman chassis and will most likely be using the stock mounting points for the direct bolt.
