Re: Craig@Rennstore.com

Just the S at this point (same rear brakes, larger front on the S)

Captain obvious here... I assume that these come with some sort of bracket to move the caliper out? I'm very interested.

They come with spacers, and new bolts to install your calipers further away from the hub. In one word they work.

Re: ROTORS: GiroDiscs for Cayman S - upgrade kit FREE SHIPPING + DISCOUNT

When I finally need to replace the rotors on my 2.7, what do else do I need to change to upgrade to these? New calipers? I already have 19'' rims, so plenty of clearance.

Thanks!

Re: ROTORS: GiroDiscs for Cayman S - upgrade kit FREE SHIPPING + DISCOUNT

(As noted above, the GiroDiscs are only made for the S)

jaica has it right on - he has a full set. He uses them HARD at many track days and has had great success and no issues AFAIK.
Also uses Pagid Yellows -

Radially mounted calipers make this mounting method incredibly robust and relatively easy to install -

Re: ROTORS: GiroDiscs for Cayman S - upgrade kit FREE SHIPPING + DISCOUNT

Hmm, that didn't really answer my question at all, sorry. I want to know what I'd have to do to upgrade my 2.7 brakes to the S's (and use GiroDiscs). Assuming my brakes don't last forever, I will at some point need new rotors and pads, and when that time comes, what else would I need to add these discs?

Re: ROTORS: GiroDiscs for Cayman S - upgrade kit FREE SHIPPING + DISCOUNT

So you want S brakes. I'm certain someone here has done it.

Your calipers are black, S is red. Rears are the same caliper different color.
Fronts are completely different - caliper and rotor.

Right, from reading other posts it seems I should be able to switch my front brakes to my back, then get new calipers (S or other) for the front. Does anyone have more details on how to do this where it doesn't break my bank account?

Re: ROTORS: GiroDiscs for Cayman S - upgrade kit FREE SHIPPING + DISCOUNT

Front to back? Pads are very limited for the 2407 size, no Yellows for example.
I'd start a new topic of discussion for what you are asking on this thread....
