Country: | | | New Aussie Widebody TPC Stage 2 ATP build Well, almost 3 years on, our little Cayman S is due for a birthday.
Shes been a good Girl, running on the Podium in our home Porsche Clubs B class & outright categories, holds the fastest lap times ever set in a 987 at all of the circuits we have run at (Including Mt Panorama / Bathurst).
Anyway, after long discussions, many beers & a lot of research, we called the TPC boys and decided to "pull the trigger".
Luckily our car already has a heap of supporting mods, but the areas we needed to improve on are power & handling. After several chats with Tom & Mike, we decided on the stage 2 ATP, and a selection of the TPC suspension components.
Oh, a little body widening to get the problem of lack of Aero & rubber on the ground is also taking shape.
Will post some more pics as we progress! |

Keep up the good work!

Are there many Caymans running in the QLD porsche club. At present, I'm the only one competing in PCV. |

Was with James last night, he's in between cars & still misses his GT3. He likes the look of the new project |

-Moto | It's the Jacquemond Cendryn kit Porsche Cayman by Jacquemond : rear wing, roof spoiler, widebody, wide body, kit, wide fenders, bumpers, side skirts, strosek, gemballa, techart, nrautos
Thought long and hard about this, expensive- yes, nice, yes. The factory like styling is what won me over. Fit & finish is first rate, our panel shop gives it a 9/10, only a little work required in a couple of spots. A lot of work has gone into the shape & design of the kit & the finish shows that off. |

Not many other places you can pull 6th gear, get the car completely light & then make a decision if your tyres feel good enough to take the kink flat! If you get a chance to do it, take it.
I've done laps at Road Atlanta & a few other international tracks, this must rate up there with the "ring" & "Le Mans"
Same in QLD, I'm the only Cayman running all events, the odd one turns up for a one off round. Anyway, its good to see off a lot of the late GT3's, so looking forward to what we can do with the TPC kit. |

Current '10 not as fast as the '06
If I ever get to QLD I'll have to check it out!

Seriously though, does this mean you are going to be the TPC agent here too or is this just a personal thing? Look forward to this beast in Motor mag tuner challenge if you are going to be retailing it! |
