No Porsche Hawaii at the First Hawn Auto Show?
I just reviewed the floor plan for the Auto Show and Fletcher has 4100 sq ft of space for Mercedes, but nothing for Porsche. What gives?
PCAH will be there with a smattering of cars from a 356A to 930 turbo, 2 964 turbos, a 996 turbo, and 993/996/997 Carrera S coupes and cab, a 911sc targa and a 944 S2 cab! We have 3700 sq ft of display space which is more than all the car clubs with the exception of the VW Club. We even have more space than many car dealers!

Unfortunately, for Fletcher Jones both locally and nationally Mercedes-Benz is the crown jewel of the dealer group. When it comes to belt tightening the secondary stores; Porsche, Jaguar and Land Rover all take a back seat and in this case have been excluded from the Intl. Auto Show as a cost cutting measure.
It is a real bummer since the latest Porsche product offers some of the best and most impressive technology the brand has offered to date. Good to hear there will be a strong enthusiast showing to keep excitement in the brand.

 In light of what's been happening with the economy, their decision is understandable but somewhat shortsighted ... I may see something I like better than a Porsche ... POH could lose me as a customer!

I don't think I went last year. They are kinda boring.
But PCOH seems like they will have a great lineup. That might be worth going to see  .

I went last year, in and out in 20min. I couldn't sit in the Turbo because the person working the POH space didn't have the keys; anyway, the R8 across the aisle made the silver Turbo look dated ...
Only two cars raised my pulse; the black R8 and the red 599 behind the ropes, and I can't afford any of these

The 599 belongs to a buddy of mine. They always borrow his cars for that section. You have hear that thing, it is both sweet and loud!

Yea, I've got this cool friend with a silver cayman living in kailua/kaneohe !
Actually, my friend with the 599 stopped by the other day, and he is a very, very down to earth guy. Car enthusiats are all usually cool guys.
