Caravan to Croctoberfest

With Croctoberfest being at Road America this year, I have a good feeling I will be able to make it - finally! Not only is RA one of the best tracks in the world, but Wisconsin has some amazing back roads. My Dad started going up to RA in the 60's with his Dad, and he continued the tradition with my brother and me. So, if you are planning to make it to Croc-fest this year, post up here! We can find places to meet and drive together.

For starters: I will be leaving from Iowa City, IA. Most people coming from the Southwest will have to come thru here anyways. We can take 151 (which is all new and 4 lane) up to Madison then break off and run the fun roads.

Re: Caravan to Croctoberfest

Sounds like a great idea for a fun road trip! When CrocFest was in Atlanta last year, we managed to collect close to 10 cars for a moving caravan that started in Massachusetts and worked it's way south.

We coordinated picking up cars along the route and even had dinners with folks that weren't heading to Atlanta but wanted to meet fellow owners along the way.

Here's my travelogue of the trip:

Good luck and I look forward to reading about your adventure!
