3 Caymans in 24 hours in Reston, VA - Was it you?
Last night as I am walking to dinner with another Cayman owner we walked right past a Guards Red Tiptronic Cayman S parked along the street in downtown Reston, Virginia (Town Center area between Clyde's and the theater). Then while at dinner a white Cayman S goes by outside. Then this morning as I am on my way down Reston Parkway a burgundy Cayman pulls up next to me with a guy driving and temp tags. I attempt to show him my yellow Cayman/Porsche jacket and he looks over and then speeds on by, I guess thinking I am some sort of a lunatic. 
Anyway were any of those three sightings members here? I simply MUST carry my Planet Porsche / Cayman Club business cards with me the next time I am in Reston, seems to be a hot-bed of Cayman activity!

Ken, you know there are members working in Reston! I'm in reston right now. Last time I was at the Reston Town Center I saw an artic silver CS. You didn't see me since mine is sliver too. I've seen a white one driving around the reston area though. I really dont know anyone else who would be in the Reston Area except Jriggs but you didn't see his either.

Durn, when I saw the title "3 Caymans in 24 hours" I thought Ken was gonna surprise us with news that the Factory was gonna run three of our mid-engined babies at LeMans. What a let down! Of course I should have known better. Porsche is more likely to run three Cayennes there.

The Black Perl was in Reston today but I did not see the K-Man. I've have seen that red one around but don't know who he is. By the way Ken, I'll be hosting a happy hour for my group at the American Tap Room from 5-8 tomorrow. Feel free to stop by. Also, I'll be at Summit Point on Friday for their FATT (Friday At The Track). I think there a still some open spots if you want to sign up.

I'm a stone's throw away in great falls, but go through reston to get to the tollroad, the two cars that pop out that I see all the time are caymans and gallardos

I actually live in Reston. My commute is from Arlington but could join in the fun, maybe a little late depending on traffic.

I am suspecting that we will meet in the bar at the market street grill and bar in the Hyatt. At some point folks will probably get hungry and we can either eat there, or go someplace else nearby. It might not be a bad idea for people to share some cell phone numbers so if someone is running late or whatever that they can stay in touch with the group.

Market Street is very nice for a hotel bar/restaurant, they do get locals as well. Certainly not a bad choice.
A lot of upscale choices in the town center if the weather is nice and people want to pub/restaurant crawl. Both a McCormick and Schmicks and M&S Grill are nearby, along with Clyde's. But right now the in-crowds (as opposed to the hip crowds, who generally don't hang out this far outside the Beltway) are at Jackson's which is a couple blocks away, if the weather is nice they slide the wall open and the bar and its upscale denizens spill out into the sidewalk. Food is excellent, but usually there's a wait and they don't take reservations. Jackson's also has a regular line-up of Harleys out front and the occasional 'Vette joining them.

well cant make it sorry, gotta work on the cayman to get it running for this weekend. Anyone have an extra MAF "slinky" hose? it connects from the oem MAF (mass air flow) to the TB (throttlebody) off the air intake
