Anyone else going?
I am hoping to do this on Sunday. I've been wanting to see the flying circus for 8 years now. IT will be a busy weekend. Sat I have class and then a formal that night, then if I do this on Sunday, that means I have to take Friday off of work to go to the Joint services airshow at Andrew's Airforce base which is a great military airshow thats open to the public (except on Friday).
Do you enjoy Porsches and airplanes?
Potomac and Zone 2 invite you to attend Porsches and Bi-Wings on May 16 – 17. On May 16, we are offering a tour of the Udvar Hazy Center of the Smithsonian Air and Space Musuem near Dulles International Airport in northern Virginia. You can contact the Inn directly at 540-349-8900. Just tell the reservation agent that you are with the Porsche Club to get the discounted rate.
On Sunday May 17 everyone will head out to the famous Flying Circus Airshow at the Flying Circus Aerodrome in Bealeton, VA. The Flying Circus Airshow offers parachute jumpers, wing walkers and barnstormers. And the Flying Circus has dedicated Sunday as Porsche Day. The gates will open for the Potomac group at 9:00 AM. The Flying Circus set aside dedicated parking for our Porsches and we'll have in informal wash and shine concours. We'll even take pictures of your cars and the bi-planes.
