Exclamation Mike at TPC needs your help

Does anyone in the central Maryland area have a 2007 Cayman S with sport chrono and standard brakes, but no PASM? If so, Mike Levitas at TPC (he's the owner) could use your help.

They have a customer car with a dodgy ABS unit. Before they spend the $2500 to replace the ABS, they'd like to try reprogramming it. However, the only way to get a "clean" copy of the program is to read it from another car. And, with all the software changes that Porsche does every year, it has to be the same year and the same major options (2007, with sport chrono, standard steel brakes, no PASM). It's possible a PASM car would also work, but they're not sure.

All they want to do is scan your car. There will be no disassembly or other messing around with your car.

So, if you can help, please give Mike or Tom at TPC a call: 410-799-7223

Re: Mike at TPC needs your help

The ABS/PSM units are not programmable as they are a write only and encoded from the factory. Should you be talking about the basic set up on the units done with a PIWIS tester then he can contact me.

Best,
Scott

Bill,

I have an '07 chrono but with PASM. I'll give them a call and see if they want me to stop by.

Brian
