Hello guys and Gals.

First and foremost, My name is Colin and I have been a lurker for awhile and do not yet own a Cayman. I have begun my search in ernest for a used S model so I have decided to get more active on this site. It is amazing the amount of knowledge and camaraderie there is here. I see that there are quite a few Mass members here and I was just wondering if there are any Caymans here on the South Shore. I live in America's Hometown of Plymouth and would love to meet some local or not so local members. So, drop by and say Hi (on here or in person)

Hi, I'm in Duxbury Ma with a blk/Blk S that even won the NE zone 1 Concours! I also put on events for PCNA stay tuned for a big Cayman/Boxster one in May. There is a black 07 that is in perfect condition from a friend of mine in Wellesley Ma. Call Nai Ko at 781-237-2970 tell him that Jetset Ted sent you!

Though I am in Somerville, I take my car 30 miles North up to Porsche of Nashua. Chambers... do your research, you will find out why I am not the only one from Boston driving to Nashua to avoid him and Ira like herpes.

Hi Ted.

for the heads up on both Nai and Herb Chambers. I will be calling them this weekend. As I have mentioned before this is to be my first Porsche, I haven't even driven one yet so I would love a chance to meet you, pick your brain and maybe even gaze at your lovely Cayman.

Take your time with purchase. Investigate dealer. Know history of car. Get pre purchase inspection and codes read if private owner.

The most important act is to research this site. Wealth of information to reduce your risk.

Don't want to sound preachy. I just want another satisfied porsche owner.

Thanks Zed, you don't sound preachy to me. I have been a member here for a year now and have only begun to post. I like to do my research before I jump into anything. I don't like to open my mouth and sound like a dolt. I am open to any and all advice. If I don't like it, I don't use it but I don't know until I know

I have read the faqs and many many posts about the likes and dislikes of this car. As i narrow my search I am sure i will be asking for more detailed advice, which I know is worth the electronic page it is printed on.

Had the opportunity to meet JetSet1, otherwise known as Ted, today. What a nice guy. He took a couple of hours out of his busy schedule to show me his incredibly beautiful CS. Black on Black with a mirror like shine that was so deep I could see the pores on my skin from 10 feet away. WOW. If you have not met him, you should.

As I have mentioned before I am a Porsche virgin

and in the market for a lightly used CS. Seeing Teds' really lit the fire.
