What:

Last year while channel surfing, I found a show called Chasing Classic Cars on Discovery HD Theater. The show followed the owner of F40 Motorsports, Wayne Carini, and his efforts to find and restore unique cars around the country. I became completely hooked on the show.

Well it turns out his shop in Portland, CT will be holding an open house in May. According to his website, TV cameras will be there recording the event for season 2 of Chasing Classic Cars. How cool would it be if we get a train of Caymans pull into his shop at together? I'm sure we'll get some airtime!

Anyway, I plan on heading up there and I invite anyone else interested to come along with me.

Those of you who live north or east of the meeting point can just meet all of us at the shop. We should be arriving there between 9:30AM and 10:00AM and staying until noon at least before heading to lunch.

And if any of our members are familiar with the Portland/Middletown CT area, please let me know if there are any decent lunch spots with safe parking in the vicinity.

There is a nice restaurant down town Middletown. It's right on main street at the intersection of main and Rte 66. If your interested I"ll try to find the name of it. There is also a biker bar in down town Portland, kind of rustic but ok.

I've changed the route between the two meeting points in order to drive on the Merritt Parkway as per penguin's suggestion.

Not familiar with that new show, gotta check it out.

P.S. My new Remus arrived this morning and I installed it this afternoon.
This thing sounds ssswwweeet and the butt dyno likes it too.
So if any Nor'Easters are looking to check out this exhaust system, here is your chance.

Within the last 2 weeks I've done Softronic 4.1, SRP and the Remus...hmmm now what?
