The Metro curse continues into 2009!
Due to the weather forecast, the May 17th Porsche on View Concours d'Elegance has been postponed until the May 31 rain date.

I hope to see you all on the 31st.
If you really want to concour, consider the Zone 1 event in NJ being held on May 17. There is no rain date for that event.

About what time will everyone be arriving? I can easily get there in less than 10 minutes. Also, I will be traveling incognito. Tomorrow I will be driving a black '08 BoxsterS courtesy of Porsche of Huntington. Its my loaner for the weekend while my Cayman is in for routine service.

I should be there around 9:30-10AM. It's always more fun to see the special cars arriving vs. sitting still.

Sounds like a good time to meet. I'll see if I can roust the teenager out of bed by then. Otherwise, I'll fly solo. I can give you some pointers on how to avoid major traffic headaches on your return trip.

I had a great time this morning! gonzo was there in his loaner Boxster and that left me as the lone Cayman in the entire event until mysticcs came by around 11AM.
The sun came out and made the entire field of Porsche glow.
Surprisingly there were NO other Caymans at the show besides myself and mysticcs. I did meet a nice couple from NYC. They had a yellow Carrera S, yellow belts, dash and most importantly, yellow calipers (PCCB's). WOW! I told about Planet Porsche so hopefully they'll stop by here.
