Metro PCA Concours Photos, 5/31/09
The owner of this car will kill me if he ever sees this photo, but it's just too good to pass up.
A new shade of Porsche blue made an appearance today. No, not Mexico or Rivera Blue, this was a shade darker.
What could it be?
I know, Porta-Potty Blue!

It's Turquoise Blue. I was told this car used to belong to noted Porsche afficionado Jerry Seinfeld. The car only had 8300 miles on it.

Watching some of the judging, I couldnt believe how much scrutiny these cars are given. I watched one judge seperate the seat side bolster from the main part of the seat cushion checking for debris. If you did that on my car you would get enough crumbs to build 2 scones and a bagel. On another car a judge removed the front trunk carpeting, reached his hand in where you couldnt even see and found a tiny bit of grime near the firewall...and shook his head in disapproval. Yikes!
