On Friday July 3rd, the NY Metro PCA Club will be holding their annual one day track event @ Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA.

If the weather is decent, my plan is to head up to I-80, then Rt. 15 pass Lafayette (meet up with someday), head across Dingmans Ferry, meet Blackhawk on 209 then take the country roads over to Pocono Raceway.

Anyone else interested in joining us for the drive or meeting at the track?

Sounds good to me! I live right off of 80 (Exit 27) so I could meet you on 206, 80, or 15. Let me know.

By the way, we're just visiting the track to check out the cars and chat with other Porsche nuts. If you want to drive on the track, please check out the Metro PCA website, there still may be time to register.

I'll figure this out later this week, but I'm thinking of meeting by someday's place in Lafayette between 9-10AM.

Those lurkers that live in PA can meet us at Dingman's Ferry or the track for lunch. Let me know if any of you can do this!

Just confirmed, it looks like I'll have Friday off!

Let's meet here between 9:30AM and 10:30AM. Plenty of parking plus a nice fountain and pond to stare at while waiting for everyone. We'll then take a scenic route over to Dingman's Ferry, then more backroads to Pocono Raceway. There's no set schedule, but'll we'll all have lunch somewhere close to the track (Wawa's?)

If there are any members from PA, please let me know if you plan to join us at the track or at Dingmans!

If you look carefully, there should be a Croc'ed sighting on the track at Pocono...

Last call, anyone else interested? We'll be at the Lafayette meeting point until 10:30AM. We'll then take some backroads up to Dingmans Ferry and we'll have lunch at a new Bennigans that just opened up on Rt. 206.

If you're not free the whole day, come join us for the morning drive and lunch. Or just meet us at for a chat at the Lafayette or Bennigans.

After lunch, Blackhawk has mapped out some nice roads that'll take us to Pocono Raceway.

As long as skies are clear, I'm in! Need to log some miles on the new CSS. I only have 315 so far, so my driving may be less-than 'spirited' until she's properly broken-in.

Wow! We had quite a big turnout today with a few "surprise" appearances. Great seeing everyone again and meeting some new folks today.

I'm still in NJ having dinner, so more photos tonight.
