Those of you that are close by should really make an effort to attend this airshow next year. It had some of the best displays I've ever seen and traffic/parking was well managed.
Definitely NOT Cayman friendly parking as the bumpy grass field will play havoc with the undercarriage.
A very long drive up to Rhode Island on I-95 and I only got two hits on the Ka band of the V1 for the entire 390 mile round trip. Very weird, only saw 1 state trooper the entire day.
I only saw 3 other Porsches on the road. A Meteor Gray 997 C2s cab driving nice and easy. I almost gave the owner a wave until I realized what car I was driving.
Another gray 997 C4s that would give all P-car owners a bad rep by weaving all over the place to get around cars and at very high speed. And finally an older red 911 (mid-'80's?) that managed to cut me off while I was on the right lane(!) of a 3-lane section in order to pass the car in the middle lane.
Anyhow, I'll be adding photos for the next few days. I took over 1600(!). Nothing pushes the limits of your camera gear (and stamina) like an airshow.
Hopefully some of you aviation buffs will get a kick out of them.
