Arrow Clear Bra Installer recommendations for Portland?

Next week I get my Cayman and would love to see what people recommend for Clear Bra installation. Does anyone know who does Sunset Import's installs? Last week when I was there they had a nice Cayman S DE with a super clean install.
Thanks in advance,
Donavan

Hey Donovan,

I'm not sure who does Sunset's but Tommy's Window Tinting (who we send all clients to for tint) does paint film now;
. : Tommy's Window Tinting : . . : 503.891.TINT : . . : Portland's Finest Tint and Detail Shop : . [ Bekaert Window Films ]

A lot of the Audi crew have used Matt McElroy (now in Seaside) for theirs as well; (360) 695-4444 (hopefully the number still works). He may travel to Portland, I'm not sure.

You could call Clear Bra of Oregon as well, they advertise in ORPCA Anzeiger; 503.439.9031
ClearBra of Oregon

HTH,
Jeremy

Sunset had it done to mine when they delivered the car. It looks flawless. It does scratch easily though. (I wiped it with a wet paper towel trying to take off some palm prints) I need to get some plastic polish.

Yeah the Design Edition I saw was perfect!
Strange that it scratches easy though... I wonder if they use something other than 3M? Venture Shield maybe?

Jeremy,
Thanks for the info... I've had all my cars done at 503 Motoring... They do good work, but I was curious to what other companies are out there... Specifically Sunset. I called them, but the wouldn't give me the name of their installer.

It's 3M. I checked when I ordered it. Just don't rub a wet paper shop towel across it! Cloth has been fine and didn't damage it. You can't see the damage in full spectrum light; I can only see it in the flourescents in the garage.

Maybe just have Sunset do it for you? Mine was $995 and it included 1/2 front hood, the whole front bumper area, and under the door handles. If I were to do it again I would add behind the rear wheels and around the intake grills. The more the better!

Does anyone here have experience with Alexia's Auto Tint in Beaverton?

Last I checked they were the only place in the area that does V-Kool. They also do clearbra now, though I don't know if they can do full seamless hood the way Premier does.

Hi Navando
The DE1 you saw at sunset is mine. They only has one car which I bought 8 days ago. They trimmed the film over the stripe area. The installation was pretty good but there is a small spot that I am not happy with and I am supposed to go see the installer this coming Thursday to fix it. I will ask him for a phone # and will give to you, but if he is afraid that Sunset finds out I can give him your contact information and ask him to contact you when he is off their premises. His name is David and he does all the work in their warehouse which is only couple of blocks away from the dealership. Please let me know

Mark

Mark,
Curious to what part you were not happy with. I didn't inspect the whole car.

What ever happened... was he cool with doing outside work? I never got a reply from you so I'm not sure what happened.
Let me know,

Can anyone reccomend a good place to get window tint done in the Seattle area? I'm looking to get either black or try and match the meteor grey color of the car. I'm most concerned with quality over the price.
