2008 Grand Am Porsche Corral

The 2008 Grand Am/Rolex races will be at the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama on July 18-20. The Alabama Region of the Porsche Club of America will have a hospitality tent with shade and snacks. We will also have some special appearances by DP and GT Porsche teams throughout the weekend.

Barber has provided a Car Corral area for PCA members along with some extra benefits:

Free Paddock Access Tickets (a $10 value)
$5 per ticket donated to your club
Trackside parking in the Car Corral
Opportunity for Parade Laps on Sunday* (* NEW FOR THIS YEAR - Done by random drawing. Everybody has a chance to participate in the Parade Laps!)

To order, go to https://www.southtix.com/grandam-tickets.html or visit Barber Motorsports Park ( Barber Motorsports Park ) and follow the links to the event and ticket ordering page. Information and ticket links are also available on the Calendar at Welcome to the Alabama PCA ( Welcome to the Alabama PCA ).

In the box next to "Password," enter the code: carclub08 - then click "Order tickets" at the bottom of the form.
On the new screen -
Select your club from the list
Select the tickets that you want to purchase Select the number car corral passes that you need Enter the year and make/model of the car(s) you will be bringing Click on "Order tickets" at the bottom of the form, then enter your payment information

I would really like to come over for this race, but whoever came up with the idea for a Grand Am race in Birmingham in late July? I mean, was August booked? Unbearably hot and humid with possible late afternoon showers is certainly the forecast for the weekend!!!!

I'm a "maybe".........................
